When ordering from OMPHOBBY for international delivery, you may be subject to import duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees. These charges are levied by your local government once the package reaches your country. Please read our policy below to understand your responsibilities as an international buyer.
1. Delivery Duty Paid (DDP) Regions - US & Europe
We strive to make the purchasing process as smooth as possible. For orders shipped to the United States and most countries within Europe, we generally utilize a Delivery Duty Paid (DDP) shipping method. This means that OMPHOBBY handles the customs clearance process and covers the import taxes in advance. In most cases, customers in these regions will not be required to pay additional customs fees upon delivery.
2. Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU) Regions - Rest of the World
For orders shipped to other countries and regions (including but not limited to Brazil, Japan, India, Russia, Turkey, etc.), packages are shipped Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU). This means:

Customer Responsibility: You, the buyer, are the importer of record and are strictly responsible for paying any local Value Added Tax (VAT), tariffs, duties, handling fees, and customs clearance charges required by your country.

Payment of Fees: The shipping carrier or your local customs office will contact you directly to collect these fees before the package can be delivered. OMPHOBBY cannot control, predict, or pay these local government charges on your behalf.
3. Refusal to Pay Customs Fees (Strict Liability)
By placing an order on omphobby.com, you agree to comply with your local customs regulations. If a customer refuses to pay the required import duties or taxes, or fails to provide necessary clearance documents in a timely manner, the local customs authorities may choose to destroy the package or return it to our warehouse.

No Refunds for Refusal: If a package is returned, abandoned, or destroyed due to unpaid customs fees or clearance failure, OMPHOBBY will not issue a refund for the order.

Customer Liability: The customer will be held entirely responsible for all resulting costs, including the original shipping fees, return shipping costs, customs penalties, and the total loss of the product's value.
4. Value Declaration and "Gift" Requests
As a registered and legally compliant corporate entity, OMPHOBBY is required by international trade laws to declare the accurate retail value of all items on the commercial invoice and shipping documents. We cannot and will not mark commercial merchandise as a "Gift," nor can we artificially lower the declared value of the goods to help evade local taxes. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in complying with international trade regulations.
