This Return & Refund Policy applies to all products purchased from OMPHOBBY (hereinafter "we", "us", or "our") via our official website https://www.omphobby.com. By initiating a return or refund request, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Return Eligibility (30-Day Window)
We want you to be thrilled with your new RC model! If you need to return an item, requests must be submitted within 30 calendar days of delivery.
To qualify, items must be in 100% Brand New, Unused, and Resellable condition.
Note: "Unused" means the aircraft or parts have never been assembled, soldered, bound to a transmitter, or flown. All original packaging, tags, protective films, accessories, and documentation must be perfectly intact.
2. Return Costs for Non-Defective Items
We completely understand that sometimes you might change your mind or accidentally order the wrong model. However, because RC airplanes and helicopters require large, specialized packaging and are very costly to transport, returns for non-defective items incur significant logistical costs. To help us maintain fair pricing for all our pilots, these returns are subject to the following:

Restocking & Service Fee (Up to 20%): A restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. This is not a penalty; it simply covers the dedicated time our RC technicians need to carefully unpack, thoroughly inspect, and re-certify complex precision equipment to ensure it is 100% safe for the next pilot.

Return Shipping: The customer is responsible for safely packaging and covering the shipping costs to return the item to our designated warehouse.

Original Shipping Non-Refundable: The original shipping fees incurred to send the item to you cannot be refunded (if your order included "free shipping," the actual freight cost we paid to the carrier will be deducted from your final refund).
3. Non-Returnable Items
For safety and quality control, the following items cannot be returned unless they arrive with a confirmed manufacturing defect:

Flown or Used Items: Any product that shows signs of being assembled, flown, crashed, or altered.

Human Damage: Products damaged due to improper setup, pilot error, accidental drops, or improper storage.

Incomplete Packages: Returns missing small hardware, parts, or original packaging.

Custom Orders: Personalized items or special configurations.
4. How to Start a Return
All returns require an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) from our team. Please do not ship items back without our prior confirmation.

Provide Details: Include your full name, order number, the product name/SKU, and a brief reason for the return.

Photos/Videos: Please attach clear photos showing that the product and packaging are in brand-new, unassembled condition.

Approval: Our team will review your request within 2–3 business days and provide you with the correct return address and instructions.
5. Return Shipping Guidelines

Trackable Shipping Required: Due to the high value of RC equipment, you must use a reliable, trackable shipping method (e.g., DHL, FedEx, UPS) and purchase shipping insurance. We cannot be held liable for packages lost or damaged by the carrier during the return trip.

Unauthorized Returns: Packages sent without an RMA or to the incorrect address may be rejected or returned to you at your expense.
6. Inspection & Refund Processing
Once your return arrives, our engineering team will inspect the items (typically within 3–5 business days).

If Approved: We will process your refund back to your original payment method, minus the applicable restocking fee and original shipping costs. Please allow 5–10 business days for your bank to post the funds.

If Rejected (Used/Damaged): We will contact you with photos of the issue. You will have the option to pay for return shipping to have the item sent back to you.
7. Defective or Damaged Products (The Exception)
If you receive a product that is defective out-of-the-box or damaged in transit, we've got your back!

Notify Us: Contact store@omphobby.net within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos or a video of the issue.

Resolution: For verified out-of-the-box defects or shipping damage, we will waive all restocking fees and arrange for a full refund or a free replacement, including covering the return shipping costs.
8. Order Cancellations

Before Shipping: You may cancel an order for a full refund by contacting us immediately before the item is handed over to the carrier.

After Shipping: Once an order is in transit, it cannot be canceled. You must receive the package and follow the standard return process outlined above.
