OMP M7R Delivers Strong Results at Global 3D ASIA 2026

Mar 26, 2026

Global 3D ASIA 2026 has officially come to a close, marking another memorable weekend for the international 3D helicopter flying community. Held on March 21–22, 2026 in Zhuhai, Guangdong, China, the event brought together nearly 60 top pilots from China and overseas for two days of high-level competition, precision flying, and unforgettable routines.

For OMPHOBBY, the event was not only a celebration of pilot skill, but also a real-world demonstration of what defines a true competition platform: stability, repeatability, and long-term consistency under pressure.

We would like to congratulate every OMPHOBBY pilot who represented the team on the field. Across every round, their discipline, execution, and confidence reflected the hours of work behind the scenes and the standard of performance required at this level of competition.

A Demanding Competition Environment

Global 3D ASIA is designed to test far more than raw power. Over the course of the event, pilots faced multiple rounds including compulsory maneuvers, freestyle, and music flight, with each format demanding a different combination of precision, rhythm, timing, and control.

That matters because at this level, performance is not about one impressive moment. It is about maintaining clean response, predictable handling, and confidence through repeated flights in front of judges and spectators. Under these conditions, equipment consistency becomes a decisive factor.

The M7 and M7R Proved Their Value Where It Matters Most

During the event, the OMPHOBBY team competed with the M7 and M7R competition-class helicopters. What made this especially meaningful was that these were not freshly prepared event-only machines. The helicopters used in competition had already been part of regular daily training.

Even after intensive use, they continued to deliver stable performance, consistent condition, and uniform sound characteristics on the field. That kind of repeatability is exactly what serious pilots need when moving from practice to competition.

For OMPHOBBY, this is an important point. A real competition helicopter should not feel exceptional for one day only. It should remain dependable after repeated training sessions, preserve the same flight character over time, and give pilots the confidence to focus entirely on execution.

That is exactly what the M7 platform demonstrated at Global 3D ASIA, with the M7R standing out as a clear example of competition-ready stability and durability.

OMPHOBBY Team Results

OMPHOBBY pilots delivered strong finishes across multiple classes:

Master Class
KAN POONNOI — 2nd Place

Expert Class
JAE HONG — 1st Place
Wang Run — 4th Place

Advanced Class
Wang Haokun — 2nd Place

These results reflect more than individual talent. They also validate the reliability of the platform beneath the pilots. In a competition environment defined by precise maneuvering, aggressive 3D routines, and repeated high-pressure flights, consistency is not optional. It is a competitive advantage.

Why Competition Results Matter for Product Credibility

The value of an event like Global 3D ASIA goes beyond rankings. It provides a real operating environment where performance claims are tested under pressure.

Pilots are not flying in controlled studio conditions. They are executing demanding routines, maintaining timing across multiple rounds, and relying on aircraft response with no margin for hesitation. In that context, stable performance, structural durability, and setup consistency become visible in a way that marketing language alone never can.

That is why this event was so meaningful for OMPHOBBY. The strong finishes achieved by our pilots were backed by helicopters that had already proven themselves in training, and then continued to perform when the stakes were highest.

Built on Consistency, Not One-Day Performance

For OMPHOBBY, Global 3D ASIA 2026 reinforced a simple belief: quality must be repeatable.

A competition helicopter should not only perform on event day. It should maintain the same confidence, response, and control feel throughout daily use, repeated practice, and real competition conditions. That commitment to durability, consistency, and pilot-focused engineering remains at the core of how we develop the M7 and M7R platform.

As the event comes to a close, we celebrate every pilot, every routine, and every hard-earned result. And we move forward with the same mission: to keep building helicopters that help pilots train harder, fly better, and compete with confidence.

Fly with stability. Win with consistency.
